We collect data for children and parents. For parents we require, contact name, address, telephone numbers, email addresses and consent for child’s photograph to be used. We may also require bank details to process refunds.
For children, we require, name, address, DOB, medical conditions, allergies, behaviour or educational needs and school.
To comply with health and safety, it is important that this information is kept up to date. We remind parents that it is their responsibility to inform us of any changes to these details.
This data is collected prior to a course starting or when the booking is made. The information is used to process the bookings, enabling us to enrol your child on a course. There may be occasions when we collect further data. This could be due to accidents or incidents that need to be recorded, information collected on contact forms or queries and complaints.
This data is collected via our online booking form, online contact form, paper booking form, when details are emailed for registration, through text messages or phone conversations and through payments on Paypal. If we are missing crucial information, this may be collected by speaking to a parent face to face.
Data may also be collected from social media when competitions are entered or won, surveys are taken or pages are ‘liked’. Messages could also be sent with important information via social media.
This data is kept on a database system on a secure computer based in our main office. Senior members of staff all have access to this information in case of emergencies. If paper copies with adult or children's data is received, this is stored in a locked storage cabinet in the main office.
